BEAT HEART DISEASE WITHOUT SURGERY: TREATMENT MODES-CHELATION, OXYGEN ETAL-SURGERY AND CHELATION THERAPY AND CONTRAINDICATIONS
Cardio & Blood Chelation Therapy and Contraindications-It is perhaps timely to discuss this issue here as in certain (very few) instances the therapy is not advised. Van Der Schaar sums it up: ‘Sometimes we see it (Chelation therapy) affect renal function and then we tailor the treatment to suit the ability of the patient.’ Obviously if renal function is below a certain clearance then EDTA therapy would not be recommended. However, the whole vexed question of chelation therapy damaging renal function – which it does not if the protocol is followed correctly.
Other contraindications are minor personal ones. As Dr Van Der Schaar says: ‘Sometimes we get adverse reactions to B3 (nicotinic acid – a vitamin of the B group) when it is added to the drip. Some do not tolerate magnesium in high doses. That’s why dose and formula are altered to suit each patient.’
